We stayed for a weekend and would definitely choose to stop here again. the location was ideal, conveniently situated near sightseeing spots, the town center, and a variety of pubs and restaurants. It made getting around really easy!

location: the hotel was just next door to sightseeing and centre of town, city centre, and south coast. the staff was very very helpful all the time. the deluxe king room was huge, had a mini bar, central heating, and an iron.
The hotel staff was very rude.

The location here was fantastic for me, as it was close to local attractions, the town center, and a variety of restaurants. Plus, there was a pub just down the road! 🍻.

Ideal location and beautiful arrival area. Very friendly staff.
You can hear the water pipes of the neighbouring bathrooms and the coughing in the neighbouring room extremely well.

It's a good location if you are travelling by car for bar, breakfast and dinner. Also the Blue Lake is not far away.

The location was fantastic, situated in a lovely residential area just a short walk from Mount Gambier and the town center. the units were well-appointed, featuring a big-screen TV and beautifully renovated bathrooms. the staff were extremely friendly, adding to a pleasant stay.

Review for Southgate Motel in Mount Gambier
Everything was simply excellent! the motel was clean, and the staff was really accommodating, providing excellent service. It boasts a great location, conveniently close to pubs and bistros. the surrounding area offers a wonderful variety of options for meals and drinks, including numerous pubs and cafes. My room was recently upgraded and had a modern feel, complete with smoke detectors for added safety.

Batbroom was in need of an upgrade. Plaster in hallway coming off walls as if moisture problems, rising damp. They didn't bother to even clean it up.
